Memorial Day

We're doing our Memorial Day celebration today instead of tomorrow. Mom doesn't like doing holiday and then having to go back to work the next day. It's kind of hard to enjoy yourself if you have to remember work (or school in my case). So, after mom and I did the normal Sunday morning food shopping and breakfast, we went to my Granddad's house. To avoid all the clean up after cooking and such, we ended up going out for Italian food. Afterwards, we just kind of wandered around to various places and stores. It was nice, though, I kind of wished Lee could have come with us o.o Mom was kind enough to drop me off at the beach so that Lee and I could hang out ^_^ <3

Out of town

We visited my grand uncle today; the one stuck in an ALF for the rest of his life because of a stroke. The weather on the drive up was kind of weird. It was cloudy and drizzle rain. The weird part was the sudden temperature change. Around me, the was warm and humid and breezy. But about halfway to my grand uncle's, it became chilly enough for me to wrap up in a jacket. On the drive back, at the halfway point again, the temperature became warm again. I would have expected the change to have moved or evened out some after a few hours. But it hadn't. I guess the front stalled.

Happy Easter!!! ^_^ Mom and I need to do some quick shopping if the stores are open. But afterwards, we'll be prepping Easter dinner. My granddad will be coming over later to join us. So I need to help straighten out the house before I can meet up with my friends. I also get to bring Lee home with me for dinner ^_^ <3

Tomorrow...

Is Spring Break! Heck yeah! LOL ^_^ No big plans for next week but hanging out with my friends ^_^

Mom and I went to my granddad's today. He wanted a haircut and mom and him wanted to do some running around. I was able to bring Lee with me which made everything good ^_^ But sometimes it's hard to shop with him around. My hand is almost always in his and it's hard to pick things up to look at ^_^ But, I think, I'd have it no other way <3 <3 ^_^

Out of town

We visited my grand uncle today. We haven't seen him since around Christmas. He doesn't get many visitors and such. No one wants to go to an ALF (aka nursing home) and be reminded of their own mortality. It must be worse to be stuck in one knowing that's where people go to die o.o But luckily, those thoughts didn't pop into my head until a little bit ago.

Thai Buddhist Temple

We did the Temple today. It was cloudy and a little chilly but the sun came out when we got there ^_^ It was freaking crowded! I stood in line for about five minutes for noodle soup (it was worth it). We forgot about tourist season. The last time we went was back in May when it's just us Floridians. But, this is height of tourist season and these people have nothing better to do. But, we had fun none the less. Of course, I pigged out ^_^ I wanted to go inside the Temple this time, but there was a ceremony or service going on and I didn't want to disturb it. Mom suggested that maybe her and I would come up here alone next time with the idea of attending a service. That sounded great ^_^

Change of plans

Well, we didn't go the to Buddhist Temple today. Granddad slipped and fell a couple of days ago and he's still felling stiff and sore. We're going to try to go next Sunday if he's up to it.

So, I guess it's just going to be me and Lee today ^_^ Most of my friends thought we were going to be out of town, so they made plans that didn't include me. No biggie. Oh, and Lee was coming with me today; that's why it'll be me and him ^_^ No idea what we're going to do yet. But, hey, who cares. I'll be with him <3 ^_^

Busy day

Mom, granddad, Lee and myself are planning on going to the Buddhist Temple tomorrow. It's like a 50 - 75 mile (80 - 120 km) road trip that use most of the day. So, we need to do all our chores from tomorrow, today. Shopping, laundry, yard work (yes, it's still warm enough for weeds to grow), house cleaning, etc. Kyle and Lee headed home a little bit ago but Yvonne's still here. Too bad for Yvonne. I've volunteered her to help us LOL ^_^ Chores usually take longer to do when she helps, but we have so much fun ^_^

Family time

Mom and I did our normal Sunday routine today: breakfast and food shopping. We also donated stuff to Goodwill and then headed down to my granddad's. He needed help running wiring through small spaces. Mom volunteered me to help >.<

If anyone has found it...

My butt froze off this morning >.< LOL It was freaking cold out when I took the dogs out. Even Lee whelped when I came in with my frozen feet and warmed them on his tummy LOL ^_^

Mom, my granddad and I are going to visit my grand uncle in the nursing home today. We won't be able to visit on Christmas because he's going home with his sister for the holiday. So, today seems to be the best day to visit.

Feels like Summer

Other than for a little while this morning when it was nippy outside, most of today felt kind of like Summer. Even to the point that I was dressed in shorts and sandals ^_^ It did finally get cool again as the sun started going down, but for the most part, it was awesomely nice ^_^

Mom needed some stuff from the Asian market; so we did that today, along with granddad. It was nice ^_^ Afterwards, I met up with Lee and his family at the drum circle. Once it started getting too chilly, Lee and I wandered around Main Street where he fed me yummy things ^_^ LOL

My men ^_^

Lee's here and my dad ^_^ Two of the most important men in my life ^_^ We're going over to granddad's in a little while. Granddad is having computer and network problems again. So this time dad is going to take a look. Why do I feel so happy? ^_^ Once granddad's computer and network are working again, we all are going to go out for a late lunch and then drive by the malls and laugh at all the people ^_^ Actually, I have no idea what we're going to do after lunch. But we will be at the beach for the drum circle. Dad says it's been ages since he was to ours. ^_^ Anyway, like I said earlier, Lee's here and vying for my attention <3 ^_^

I'm doing this post via the official blogger app for the iPad ^_^ So, lets see if it pots correctly and what it looks like when it does.

We didn't do pizza last night. Instead we did roast turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, green beans, rolls, and pumpkin pie ^_^ Granddad, Lee, and Hannah were here too. Since we're going out of town for Thanksgiving, mom did the dinner last night and it was yummy!! Lol! ^_^ After granddad went home, Yvonne came over and we did our movie night. So, last night was turkey and a movie lol!

Early Thanksgiving Dinner

Yup! Exactly, an early Thanksgiving Dinner. We did this last year too I think. Mom loves leftover turkey for sandwiches and since we don't get leftovers from visiting my grand uncle, she cooked one up tonight and invited my granddad over and let me invite Lee and Hannah over too ^_^ We're all stuffed like little piggies ^_^ Oink Oink Oink! LOL ^_^ Yvonne will be over after my granddad leaves and we'll do the movie part of the night ^_^ Anyway, I need to get back to my family and friends (one day they'll all be family) ^_^

Shopping and pumpkin

It was beautiful out this morning. I could have run forever. Even the dogs wanted to, but I had to get home and help mom with the chores. Afterwards we went to granddad's and then we all went to Walmart where I got some clothes and a pumpkin for carving, ate out, and did the bookstore ^_^

Buffalo WIngs and Friends

Mom and I had a craving for buffalo wings almost all week long. Well, today we fed that craving: we cooked a huge batch of buffalo wings for dinner. We then invited my granddad and Lee over and we all pigged out. Afterward, Yvonne and Kyle popped in and we just goofed off until they had to leave. We had a blast ^_^

True One Year Anniversary

Today, actually tonight, is Lee's and my true One Year Anniversary ^_^ Because tonight is a school night and Lee works with his dad, we couldn't celebrate it like we wanted to. But Saturday was perfect ^_^

My granddad was here tonight for turkey soup. Mom makes the best turkey soup ^_^ Anyway, granddad gave me a ride to where Lee was working after dinner and Lee and I at least got an hour of together time ^_^ Sure, we were working, but it was us together <3 ^_^ Afterwards, Lee's dad gave me a lift home ^_^  I'm Happy ^_^

One year anniversary

On Monday, September 24th, it will be one year since Lee and I started talking ^_^ And since it falls on a Monday, we celebrated tonight ^_^ And by coincidence, today was the Autumn Equinox ^_^

Mom cooked up a turkey for dinner tonight and invited my granddad over. She let me invite Lee too ^_^ She didn't do it for our one year anniversary, she just did it because she found two turkeys in the deep freeze and needed to either cook them or toss them. We'll probably have another roast turkey next month. But anyway, she had granddad and Lee come early so we could make a run over to the new arts & crafts store. It was packed and it dwarfed Micheal's. We get through the front door and I'm all OMG! It was packed with people, but more importantly, it was packed with so much cool stuff! We were only looking, but I know I'll be back ^_^ We muck around for about an hour and then head home to finish making dinner: roast turkey, rolls, acorn squash, mashed potatoes, stuffing, and gravy ^_^ For dessert with had ice cream ^_^ In the middle of dinner, the skies open up and dump tons of water on us >.<  Lee and I look at each other hoping the rain will stop before sunset. But it continued right up to a half an hour before sunset. After say 'bye' to my granddad and being reminded several times about my curfew by mom, Lee and I race down to the beach.

We thought the drum circle for tonight would have been cancelled because of the rain. Nope! It was still a go ^_^ And that's were Lee and I spent tonight until my curfew. Me dancing for just him and this time he knowing it ^_^ Or just cuddling and being together. I love him so much <3 ^_^
