Pirates! Arrrrh!

'Tis a Pirates of the Caribbean marathon tonight ^_^ We felt like watching the trilogy again. I love those movies, especially Johnny Depp ^_^ It's intermission while we make sundays for ourselves ^_^ Yvonne's in charge of them because we couldn't trust Lee or Kyle to make them with the proper amounts of stuff lol ^_^

Date night!

Date night! Date night! Yes! Yes! Yes! Finally, I can be in Lee's arms for more than a few minutes <3 I've been longing for this all week. I'd be happy even if all we did was sit around together not listening to the TV in the background ^_^ It's going to be very cool tonight. Perfect snuggling weather ^_^

Minecraft and not starving

Okay, I started playing Minecraft again tonight. One of the first things I did was to back up all my saved worlds and then delete all but Vechs' Waking Up. I had about ten other worlds, some going back to a heavily modded 1.2.5. I hadn't touch most of them in over a month and don't even remember what I was doing in them. So, I just kicked them out of my save folder. One day I might take a look at them again, but I doubt it. Anyway, I'm back to the Waking Up map. I finished Intersection 2 and have cleared the way to Intersection 3. Even knowing everything about the map doesn't really help much. I'm also backing up the map again. Hopefully it won't get corrupted like the last one did >.< So much progress lost o.o

Anyway, I discovered an new game: Don't Starve. It has a Minecraftian feel to it, but not as open ended as Minecraft. The idea is to see how long you can survive in the wilderness. I've been playing it for a week or two and now I'm kind of addicted >.< lol So far, I've made it to like sixteen days before biting the dust. However, my usual time is a couple of days o.o Those are game days not real days ^_^ The game's still in beta and has some glitches and bugs. But it is playable almost as a finished product. It's available on Steam and Google Play. I got my copy through Play and it requires Google's Chrome browser. I'm not sure if the Steam version has the same requirements. And I'm not sure if the license can be transferred from computer to computer. It would kind of suck if I couldn't do that.

Dancing

Dance class was a blast as always. But it was even more important tonight. It helped me get out of my glumps. Alice was able to cheer me up yesterday, but I started getting glumpy again. I needed to be with people and Hannah and Lee's mom ^_^ And I zone out when I dance, just let go and not care who watches. I forget everything and just exist in the moment ^_^ That's what happened tonight and I have forgotten the emptiness from yesterday. I'm sure I could call it back, but why?? I'm me again. Well, the happy me ^_^

Alone

Dad's gone and Lee's working. The house seems so empty. Even Tom and Jack and Sasha are hard pressed to cheer me up. What's bad is even if my parents weren't divorced, it would still be the same.  Dad's job keeps him travelling everywhere. I don't like feeling this way. So, I'm going to over to Alice's. She has always been there for me ^_^

Gone

My dad's gone now. To the airport and off to Europe T_T He's going to try to be here for Christmas, but he's not sure. I want him here so bad. T_T If I write anymore tonight, it'll be like he died. I don't want that, EVER!

My men ^_^

Lee's here and my dad ^_^ Two of the most important men in my life ^_^ We're going over to granddad's in a little while. Granddad is having computer and network problems again. So this time dad is going to take a look. Why do I feel so happy? ^_^ Once granddad's computer and network are working again, we all are going to go out for a late lunch and then drive by the malls and laugh at all the people ^_^ Actually, I have no idea what we're going to do after lunch. But we will be at the beach for the drum circle. Dad says it's been ages since he was to ours. ^_^ Anyway, like I said earlier, Lee's here and vying for my attention <3 ^_^

Avoiding the stores

Yup, that's what we did today, avoid all the stores. People are insane! Sure some of the bargains are fantastic bargains. But most are just low prices that you can find anytime of the year. My family as almost always shopped online for Christmas. Why kill yourself to save a few dollars when you can that and more by doing it online from the safety of your home ^_^ People are just insane >.<

Today, in celebration of us successfully avoiding the crazies, Dad took us to a Japanese Steakhouse. Even though we didn't do the hibachi grill with the chef cooking right before our eyes, the place was awesome! LOL. We did the bento box specials. Don't think that in this case, "special" equates to "cheap". These were extremely good. And each "box" was decorated and arranged so nicely that we were hesitant on actually digging in. It was so freaking good when we finally dug in ^_^

The decor was awesome too. Definitely not a Chinese restaurant, though they still had the waving cats at the front register. They also had a Jin Chan, money toad:

I had never seen one of these before. But, then, I've never been to a Japanese restaurant. Japanese restaurants are upscale places. Whereas, Chinese restaurants are common, everyday places. I'll have to get myself one of these because they look so cool ^_^. There were also daruma scattered about the place and the design and furnishing were nice, but very simplistic. Something I might expect in a Japanese restaurant. I'll need to get myself some daruma too ^_^ The food was served in bento boxes with disposable chopsticks. We were given Asian spoons instead of the typical western ones. The miso soup was wonderful ^_^

YaY!

My dad's here! Snoring a storm up, but I don't care! <3 He got in around 11pm last night, dead tired but I guess I was even more tired because I fell asleep snuggled up to him on the couch. That's where I awoke. Part of me thought it was just a dream. And, even though I knew it wasn't, I had to hunt down the snorer to reassure myself. Nope, he's real and in our guest room ^_^

Poor Tom o.o

This morning, I started out for a run with Tom and Jack, but after a short ways, I noticed that Tom was limping a little. It looked like he hurt his front paw. So the three of us took our time walking back home. Tom's just too big for me, otherwise, I would have carried him. When we get home, I was able to look at his paw better. I think he just strained it because it was tender to a gentle squeeze but not to my just touching it. So, I babied him (and Jack) for awhile then snuck out to finish my run alone. I just got back from doing 10k. Tom's doing a little better but is still favoring the paw.

The holidays begin!

Well, begin for me at least ^_^ No school from tomorrow through to Monday of next week. Five day weekend! Yes! Four of which will involve my dad. YES YES! LOL ^_^

I have dance class tonight, but I was warned that Hannah might not be coming. She might have a cold o.o I hope she doesn't. And if she does, I hope she gets over it very quickly <3 I'll miss my favorite dance partner tonight.

Anyway, I'm doing this test post from my other iPad blogging app and I think I like this one better than Google's. That's sad. How can a company not release decent apps for their own products? I guess it's just comes down to money.

Lee works tonight, so I'm on my own later. Today is one of my short days, so I'll have about three hours after I get out before my friends get out. I have a few friends from the college, but they're not "friend" friends, more acquaintances than anything. It's almost 6am, so I had better get around for school.

Wonderfully lazy day

As the title of this post says, today was a wonderfully lazy day  ^_^ It was beautiful out this morning, so instead of my normal 5k run, I did 10k. Even Tom and Jack had little problem keeping up. Though, they are getting up there in years and I'll be soon running alone part of the way. But that wasn't today ^_^ After I showered and dressed, mom and I did our normal Sunday shopping. This time, there seemed to be no rush. We even stopped at Applebee's for a quick snack ^_^

I'm doing this post via the official blogger app for the iPad ^_^ So, lets see if it pots correctly and what it looks like when it does.

We didn't do pizza last night. Instead we did roast turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, green beans, rolls, and pumpkin pie ^_^ Granddad, Lee, and Hannah were here too. Since we're going out of town for Thanksgiving, mom did the dinner last night and it was yummy!! Lol! ^_^ After granddad went home, Yvonne came over and we did our movie night. So, last night was turkey and a movie lol!

Early Thanksgiving Dinner

Yup! Exactly, an early Thanksgiving Dinner. We did this last year too I think. Mom loves leftover turkey for sandwiches and since we don't get leftovers from visiting my grand uncle, she cooked one up tonight and invited my granddad over and let me invite Lee and Hannah over too ^_^ We're all stuffed like little piggies ^_^ Oink Oink Oink! LOL ^_^ Yvonne will be over after my granddad leaves and we'll do the movie part of the night ^_^ Anyway, I need to get back to my family and friends (one day they'll all be family) ^_^

Date night ^_^

Lee already knew about my dad coming next week, but I told him anyway LOL ^_^

We spent tonight mostly downtown, wandering the main street. He did treat me to some pizza and chocolate milk. We then got some ice cream and headed down to the beach where we spent the remainder of our night  talking about important nothings <3 Nothing really accomplished or done, but still a wonderful night ^_^

Almost a week to go

I'm so hyped about next week! My dad will actually get here Wednesday night. It'll be late but who cares!

Dancing

Hannah wants to meet my dad ^_^ Yup! I shared the news during dance class tonight and she wants to meet him ^_^ After class, Lee's mom commented that I did dance a lot more bouncy than I normally do ^_^ I'm so happy ^_^

Veteran's Day and awesome news

Freaking awesome news! Dad called today... he's coming for Thanksgiving! Not only that, but the entire weekend. But! Wait! There's more! He's going to stay with us! Isn't that freaking awesome or what! LOL ^_^

Anyway...

Cook out! Beautiful weather. Warm enough for shorts and sundresses and bare feet :P Of course, Lee came over to join us. He also brought Hannah so that his parents could have some "alone" time together ^_^ We ended up having grilled steak, corn on the cob, baked beans, and key lime pie for dessert ^_^

We had LOTR playing as background noise, though Hannah seemed to be enjoying it. Lee and I talked about our plans for the future like Thanksgiving ^_^ We're going out of town to visit my grand uncle that day. However, we are doing another early turkey dinner this Friday. So Lee will be able to have an early Thanksgiving with us ^_^ Maybe Hannah will come too ^_^

Yes, I was hyped up last night when I got home. Just like last year ^_^

Lee drove over to my house (with is dad riding shotgun). Seeing him standing at the door waiting for me sent my heart in to overdrive. Even a year later, he still has that affect on me <3 Almost a perfect repeat of last year, a soft kiss on the lips this time, my scarlet red blush, ground rules by my mom, and we were away to the dance ^_^

My heart racing, sugar sending into reaches of hyper, and ADD all mixed together in a warm, sugary blur. My friends were all beautifully dressed. Alice and Sheila, Kyle and Yvonne, Teagan and Mike ^_^ Teagan smiled big: I was in the dress she and mom picked out for me and she already expected my "modifications" and in fact approved them ^_^

I can see how Cinderella could lose track of the time. I guess some people see Homecoming as an awkward night. It isn't to me. So much energy that I got swept away, and would have been lost had not Lee kept me grounded. Blurred, another night of my life. Blurred, all but Lee. My anchor in reality. Olive Garden was the next place that deblurred. Lee, all the time in sharp focus. Blur. My house. My front door. A kiss, real kiss, showing the world we're a true couple.

Homecoming Dance

Tonight was awesome ^_^ Homecoming Dance ^_^ This is the second year that both Lee and I went as a couple ^_^ And for a second year, my ADD kicks in full. I'm lost in it all, the sights, the sounds, everything. Deja Vu ^_^ Lee was so handsome and Alice and Sheila so beautiful. And I'm so freaky loopy right now that I'm going to publish this and try again tomorrow >.< LOLOL

Friday night

Movie night with Yvonne and Lee tonight ^_^ A Star Wars marathon to be more precise ^_^ I doubt that I'll make it through Episode 3. I don't last very long. On moment, I'm watching this awesome scene and the next, it's morning and the dogs are patiently waiting for me to take them out. >.< On or off. That's me. Anyway, back to the movie that I'll probably never see completely through >.< hehehe ^_^

Block party!

It was cold this morning, like about 50F/10C this morning o.o Winter is here or damn close. I actually had to were jeans and coat today O.O

Anyway, this week is Homecoming. Tonight there was a block party for everyone as part of it. ^_^ Lee got his dad's permission to go ^_^ It was awesome! All of my friends were there which made me even more hyper than normal LOL. I had a blast ^_^ I ended up snuggling with Lee most of the time because it was freaking cold >.<

Now, there does seem to be a problem with Blogger. I have three posts sitting in my drafts section and even if I publish them they go back to drafts >.< Three days of posts not being posted >.<

Wednesday

Short day, what more can I say? I want to see Lee tonight. I don't know why, I just do. But he's still in school and will be for another two hours. He probably won't have tonight off, but that's not a problem. I don't mind helping him and his dad out. So, until then, I'll be practicing my guitar and drawing after I get back from my run.

Sweet bugs

Lee's mom and Hannah picked me for dance class tonight as is the norm. However, this time, Lee had sent a package along with them, a gift for me. Dark Chocolate covered crickets! His mom told me that he's been looking for them for me forever (that's a lot of 'for's). He finally found them and quickly snatched them up. Lee's mom wasn't at all into trying them, but brave Hannah. She was hesitant about the first one, but had no problem with the second, third, fourth, LOL ^_^

Time change and homecoming

Well, the time change is going to take some getting used to. I was up at like 4am >.< I don't mind being up that early. However, mom does mind lol ^_^

This week is Homecoming week ^_^ And, yeah, I have a date for the dance on Saturday ^_^ And for the block party Thursday night ^_^ I will be dress by Teagan and mom again this year. But, I'll add my own touches as usual ^_^

Broken routers and Shopping

Yesterday, an important piece of out computer network died: the wireless router. The router allows multiple computers to use one connection to the Internet. Most houses with Internet access have a router. The old routers only had connections for cables. The routers today also have the ability to do wireless. On our router, the wireless part died so we only could use the cable part. Mom had to run a long network cable from the router to her Mac so that she could get online. My computer has always used a network cable. Of course, our laptops, tablets, iPads, etc., are all wireless. So it was like horrible. In the end, we went to Best Buy and got an Apple Airport Extreme. We now have wireless again ^_^

Today, we did our normal Sunday shopping: Walmart, food, bookstore. We did hotdogs and nachos for dinner tonight. Yummy ^_^

Test drive

Mom took me driving this morning ^_^ We used the "backup" car. It's a piece of junk, but it runs. It's also an automatic transmission. Mom says it's easier to learn to drive then a manual transmission. Anyway, we took it out on the back roads where Yvonne's brothers took Yvonne and me. I made an impression on mom with how well I could drive without ever driving before. Yeah, she was already on to me. I think the thing that tipped her off in the end was when she had me do a sudden stop like they ask on the driving test. She was even more impressed by the way I stepped on both the clutch and the brake. If you don't step on the clutch when you're stopping, the engine stalls out. The problem is that an automatic doesn't have a clutch >.< Yeah, both feet hit the brake except the left punched all the way to the floor like I would do with a clutch. Shoulder straps DO keep you from flying forward on instant stops >.< She knew I've been driving o.o

Writing

I've been working on my novel this afternoon. I have a few thousand words so far but it's been difficult. My mind has so many ideas and thoughts for the novel and I want to explore them all. But I have to select one and just focus on it and that's painful for me. I'm not used to being restrained to one thing. I like going all over the place ^_^

NaNoWriMo - Begins

Okay, so today begins National Novel Writing Month and that's what I'll be doing throughout November. I'll do my best to update this blog daily though don't expect very long posts o.o

Now, for the important new: Lee got his license and picked me up at school in his sister's car ^_^ She was with him, but, still, he picked me up!!! Yes! ^_^ He then drove us around for awhile, bribing his sister with gas money, before dropping me off at home ^_^ It was so awesome for my bf to pick me up at the college in front of everyone ^_^ I love him so much <3
