Spring Finals

I have finals in my college classes this week. My first final will be in Calculus II later today. My next two will be all day tomorrow: Biology and Humanities II. On Wednesday, I'll be taking my Creative Writing final. My two art classes, Figure Drawing and Drawing II, have final projects due this week, but we have until Friday to turn them in. This week looks to be a breeze ^_^

I've enrolled in Calculus III for the first summer semester. It's an early morning class, five days a week. But it's the last of the series and I want to finish it. That way, I have an additional slot available next Fall. I'm also thinking of taking my GED so that I can enroll full time as a college student. The only HS class that I took this year was Programming and the only reason I took it was because I have to have a HS home room. All my friends and family are encouraging me to go the fast path. And in all honesty, I will. I just like to keep my options open ^_^

Quick Update

It's been awhile since I've posted an update here. So, I thought that I might do a quick one. Dad was able to spend the Christmas and New Year holidays with us ^_^ It was a perfect holiday. I miss us being together. I like large families and gatherings. Maybe that's why I like Lee's family and Yvonne's and Kyle's too. They also treat me as one of their own, including being yelled at, given chores, etc. O.O LOL I don't mind ^_^

Lee and I: Our relationship seems to have mellowed out. It's not as intense as it was when we first started going together. Back then, it was like river rapids, exciting, exhilarating, never knowing what was next. Now, it's the same river, further downstream. It's slowed, but it's grown. It takes a lot more to disturb its surface. But there's the chance of us drifting apart without realizing it.

School: I aced all my classes and course last semester. I received Honors in Calculus I, American Literature, and Animation ^_^ Yay me! LOL. This semester, besides my homeroom of Programming, I'm taking: Creative Writing, Calculus II, Biology, Figure Drawing, Intercultural Humanities II, and Drawing II. So far, they're all awesome classes ^_^

Alice and Taytay (a.k.a. Tayler): Alice was once my bestie and Tayler was my online bestie. In both friendships, we've drifted apart. I still consider them friends, but no longer besties. And I think the friends part is only because of my memories of the good ole days. Tayler has for all practical purposes, vanished from my life. If I hear anything from her, it's because I initiated it. And then, it's usually a terse, polite response, nothing more. Alice is similar, but we do see each other from time to time and talk for a bit. However, neither of us goes out of way to do anything further. Oh well.

I think I'm going to head home now. The sun has warmed me up enough for the journey. Along with the corn chowder ^_^

Christmas Eve

'Tis Christmas Eve and my Family is together. Mom, me, and Dad. Yes, my Dad is here! I'm so freaking happy ^_^ He came in on Saturday and will be leaving the Saturday after New Year's. Yup! Two full weeks of my Dad, of my Family together. I don't want anything else for Christmas, nothing else could compare to this. We're getting ready to go out and look at the Christmas lights in the neighborhood, then we'll come home and have some hot cocoa with marshmallows. I'm so happy ^_^ <3 <3

Ding Dong!

Finals are over! Well, at least my college finals are done. I have a midterm next week in my high school class. After that, we have a two week winter break. Mom, Granddad, and I are going to visit my Grand Uncle in the ALF and my Aunts and Cousin on the way back. I haven't heard anything about Christmas from my Dad yet. He's been very busy of late. I'm hoping he will be here at a couple of days o.o I want to drive him around ^_^ I miss him so much.

Last night was Pizza and a Movie night. Lee's here of course, snoring, along with Kyle, Hannah, and Yvonne. These nights have become rarer than when we first started. Everyone's life is diverging. Separate life paths. Alice's has gone almost completely. We still talk and such, but we haven't hung out in like forever. That's kind of understandable. We never really had much in common. I think our bond was the familiarness of each other. Once we started finding people that had more in common with ourselves, that bond started dissolving. Life moves on.

Intermission

Movie and pizza night ^_^ And as the title of this post says, it's intermission.

It's been awhile since I posted and I don't like that. I'm afraid that it might become a habit and eventually, I'd abandon this blog all together. But at the same time, I'm not as obsessive about posting here as I used to be which is a good thing ^_^

Next week is Thanksgiving. Lee's going out of town to do it with family. He leaves Tuesday night and won't be back until Sunday. I'm going to miss him T_T But in a way, I'm going out of town too. We're doing Thanksgiving at my Grand Uncle's ALF which is out of town. Other than Thanksgiving, it looks like I'll be in town for the holiday. Yvonne and I are thinking of risking the mall on Black Friday. That's always frightening lol ^_^

Anyway, Lee wants me to finish up so we all can get back to the movie ^_^

BIrthdays, parties, restricted DLs

It was Triple Thursday today ^_^ First of all, I got my restricted Driver's Licence!!!! Freaking AWESOME! LOL ^_^ In my brilliancy, I made the appoint for late in the afternoon, after my tennis class. So all day long, all I could think about was the test o.o Finally, after tennis and getting cleaned up, mom took me to do the driving test. Yes, I had to flash my ID a couple of times especially to the person giving me the test >.< Anyway, needless to say, I got my DL!!! It's a restricted DL though. I can't drive between 11pm and 6am unless I'm accompanied by a licensed driver of 21+ years of age, or I'm driving to or from work. So, what does that mean for me? It means I can borrow the car without having to borrow mom too LOL ^_^ The downside, is that we only have one vehicle o.o Oh well, that's my next step ^_^

Second of the Triple Thursday is that it is Halloween!!! One of my favorite holidays ^_^ This year Yvonne became zombified as was Hannah; Kyle was Lord Death, a variation of his costume last year. As for me, I went as a mad scientist with Lee, my prince, as my monster creation ^_^ Throughout the party, I was randomly checking to make sure my monster's lips worked and he, mine ^_^ Lee and I came to Yvonne's party an hour late because of something important we needed to do...

Lee's birthday. The most important of Triple Thursday. He decided to have just me and his family this year. Amanda and Ryan, his older sister and brother, weren't there. So it was just the five of us: Lee, me, Hannah, and his mom and dad. There were few decorations for his BD. Most of the house was decked out for Halloween. Dinner was yummy, roast chicken and stuffing, green beans, corn on the cob (and on anyone that sat close to Hannah lol), mashed potatoes and gravy ^_^ Afterwards, Lee was forced to put on a birthday hat (I can be rather forceful ^_^) and we sang happy birthday while the candles were lit. He'll get his wish ^_^ Then Lee did presents while we all ate cake and ice cream.

For some reason, I made this day and evening sound kind of ordinary and it was far from that. It was so special to me. o.o I need sleep now or I'll doze off ATK before I post this.

Happy 4th of July!

I just got home about thirty minutes ago and I'm dead tired. Did the cookout with family and friends. But we didn't see the city's fireworks display. The weather was just too wet. Instead, we just shot them up at Yvonne's house. Actually, it was her dad and brothers. The rest of us just watched ^_^

Packing day

I think I've got everything packed for camp now. My backpack probably weighs as much as me. Come to think of it, my backpack probably weighs as much as me empty >.< lol ^_^ I'm going low tech. Only my smartphone is coming. My laptop, iPad, Kindle, etc., stays here. Swamps don't like technology. They seem to go out of their way to kill technology >.<

About my future posts. I'll be gone about a week; so don't expect any. Afterwards, I'm not sure how often I'll be posting. Like I said awhile back, the one post a day thing can be tedious when I have nothing interesting to talk about. Well, nothing interesting to me to talk about. I might switch to a weekly summary post instead of a daily post. But, I'm thinking that those posts can get quite long if I have a lot to say. I don't know. I have about a week to think about it more, if I remember.

Well, I'm going to chill out before I have to leave. Lee's going to be over to come with us when mom takes me to the bus. It'll be over a week before I see any of my friends and family T_T I love them all <3

Last Dance Class

Tonight was the last dance class. There will be no more until we get a new teacher. Our instructor said there were a couple of people thinking about teaching but none of them have given a definite 'yes' So sad o.o

For our last class, we did freestyle after warming up. She refuses to let us do anything until we've warmed up ^_^ A good portion of the class just watched the few of us that did our freestyle. And about half of them left early. Both Hannah and I did solo dances then did one together ^_^ <3 Lee's mom did the warm up part but never did any dancing. I think she's going to miss the class. She couldn't easily hide her watery eyes at the end. I'm going to miss the class too and the other students, even the party-poopers :P

Memorial Day

We're doing our Memorial Day celebration today instead of tomorrow. Mom doesn't like doing holiday and then having to go back to work the next day. It's kind of hard to enjoy yourself if you have to remember work (or school in my case). So, after mom and I did the normal Sunday morning food shopping and breakfast, we went to my Granddad's house. To avoid all the clean up after cooking and such, we ended up going out for Italian food. Afterwards, we just kind of wandered around to various places and stores. It was nice, though, I kind of wished Lee could have come with us o.o Mom was kind enough to drop me off at the beach so that Lee and I could hang out ^_^ <3

Beach tradition

Mom and I did our traditional Summer weekend morning today. We've been going early in the morning to the farmers' market, then over to BK for breakfast and then finally we head down to the beach. The beaches are almost empty in the morning and we have them for the most part just to ourselves ^_^ A couple of years ago I think, just when Yvonne and I were becoming friends, I discovered that she and her brothers, Mark and Rob, also do the beach in the morning. Her brothers usually just fish off the jetty while she and I wander off and explore and such ^_^

Benefits ^_^

Well, getting out early does have some benefits. I was able to get ready for dance class and then meet up with Lee when his classes ended ^_^ Even though he had to work last night, we were able to hang out at his house until he left. After his mom fed Hannah and me something, we did dance class. I kind of feel sorry for Hannah. She loves the dance class and with it probably going away soon, she's going to be upset. Maybe we'll find another one like it. Or even better, our instructor will find her replacement and the class can continue ^_^

OMG!!!

My dad was here for my birthday! Only him and my mom knew he was coming. I was so hyper happy when I saw him. OMG <3 <3 hehehehe I'm still hyper LOL ^_^ I'm also kinda sad cause he had to leave to catch his flight o.o I miss him so much T_T But, I love him even more <3 <3

Last night ^_^

Last night was wonderful and awesome ^_^ I spent most of it dancing with Lee. When I wasn't dancing with Lee, I was dancing with Yvonne :P ^_^ I did dance with Kyle once or twice too ^_^ Alice and Sheila kept to themselves most the evening. But Alice did dance with me when I offered <3. The dance started around 7pm and ended around 9pm. Afterwards, my friends, Lee and I had dinner out. It was yummy ^_^ Around 11pm we went our separate ways, Lee's dad driving me home. Lee would have drove, but it's kinda hard to drive and snuggle with me in the backseat LOL ^_^ <3

Anyway, I need to help mom with getting ready for my birthday party today ^_^ Nothing special really ^_^ Oh, and happy Cinco de Mayo! ^_^

Dance class fail

It appears that our dance class is dying out. When we got to class tonight, we found that about two thirds of the class was missing. Most of the MIAs were newer people and almost all of the older ones that found it difficult to keep up with the class. I guess they just thought the class was a lost cause and gave up. Though, I also believe that they were already giving up and just wanted an excuse to leave. Anyway, those of us that were left were sort of the hardcore students. But even our loyalty won't save the class unless we can find a new instructor o.o

Out of town

We visited my grand uncle today; the one stuck in an ALF for the rest of his life because of a stroke. The weather on the drive up was kind of weird. It was cloudy and drizzle rain. The weird part was the sudden temperature change. Around me, the was warm and humid and breezy. But about halfway to my grand uncle's, it became chilly enough for me to wrap up in a jacket. On the drive back, at the halfway point again, the temperature became warm again. I would have expected the change to have moved or evened out some after a few hours. But it hadn't. I guess the front stalled.

Happy Easter!!! ^_^ Mom and I need to do some quick shopping if the stores are open. But afterwards, we'll be prepping Easter dinner. My granddad will be coming over later to join us. So I need to help straighten out the house before I can meet up with my friends. I also get to bring Lee home with me for dinner ^_^ <3

Harry Potter

We're doing a Harry Potter marathon tonight. Yvonne decided this one ^_^ So, she's here along with Kyle, Lee, and Hannah. We couldn't keep Hannah away once she found out. Besides, I kind of think Lee's mom and dad wanted tonight for their own <3 ^_^ It's intermission and we're popping up tons of popcorn (Hannah's request) ^_^ I shall be adding some of it to the top of my pizza once it's popped LOL ^_^

Dancing on the beach ^_^

Last night was beautiful ^_^ The drummers were at the beach as were Lee's family. That's where I was too dancing and chilling and just having a blast ^_^ I kind of wished we could have stayed all night. But, the last of the drummers called it quits around 11pm. Lee's mom and dad took us all out for a quick bite and then we headed over to his house. Lee demoed some of his music comps for me and for the most part they were very good ^_^ It turns out that the one I liked the most was just an improv. He's good when he just acts. I like impulsiveness <3 ^_^ I ended up spending the night at Lee's <3 ^_^ Minds out of the gutter :P I crashed on the couch while Lee slept on the floor. Hannah almost ended up sleeping all night in the armchair, but her dad picked her up and put her to bed.

On stage

OMG! I got to play guitar on stage, a real stage! I'm so hyper now! LOL ^_^

Yesterday afternoon, I went to the grill and met up with Lee and his dad. There wasn't really much for me to help with and I ended up talking with the guitarist of last night's group. She was showing me various techniques and such. One thing lead to another and I found myself on stage showing off what I know. Sure, it was tiny audience, some captive, but it was still an audience. And it was still a stage. And it was still full blown equipment that my music was coursing through ^_^
