Homecoming!

Tonight's the night, Homecoming ^_^ Lee's going to pick me up and all that stuff ^_^ It'll just be me and him to and from there ^_^ This year, Mom and Teagan picked out a little black dress for me ^_^ Yup! I now have one lol. Of course, I'll be accentuating it with a little color and such. But mom saw what I was thinking of and actually approved O.O Usually she just shakes her head and mumbles lol I'm so bouncy!!! I got to burn off some of this energy or I will be too hyper later o.o

Forgot to mention that...

Homecoming is in like two weeks: a week from this coming Friday. Lee's already asked me and I said "yes" of course ^_^ We both knew that we would be going together, but I really love it when he still does things formally ^_^ Yvonne and Kyle will be going together this year as are Alice and Sheila ^_^

My mom and I have a date this weekend to help me find something to wear. Teagan is going to meet us at the mall and her and mom will probably play dress up doll with me >.< I'm really not into the girly-girly stuff but they try. In the end, I end up with something that is not girly-girly enough for them but they'd accept it because it's probably as close as they'll get ^_^

Dress shopping

Mom is going to take me dress shopping for next week's dance. She's letting me bring Teagan and Yvonne along. In fact, she actually asked if Teagan would like to come. I think she and Teagan enjoy playing dress-up doll with me >.< LOL

Block party!

It was cold this morning, like about 50F/10C this morning o.o Winter is here or damn close. I actually had to were jeans and coat today O.O

Anyway, this week is Homecoming. Tonight there was a block party for everyone as part of it. ^_^ Lee got his dad's permission to go ^_^ It was awesome! All of my friends were there which made me even more hyper than normal LOL. I had a blast ^_^ I ended up snuggling with Lee most of the time because it was freaking cold >.<

Now, there does seem to be a problem with Blogger. I have three posts sitting in my drafts section and even if I publish them they go back to drafts >.< Three days of posts not being posted >.<

Time change and homecoming

Well, the time change is going to take some getting used to. I was up at like 4am >.< I don't mind being up that early. However, mom does mind lol ^_^

This week is Homecoming week ^_^ And, yeah, I have a date for the dance on Saturday ^_^ And for the block party Thursday night ^_^ I will be dress by Teagan and mom again this year. But, I'll add my own touches as usual ^_^

Halloween Party - Aftermath

Okay, so last night, we did Yvonne's Halloween party. It was awesome! It was a blast! I was assigned Jack-o-lantern duty: carving them, setting them up, and lighting them. Yvonne's family roped off a chunk of her woods and set up the haunted woods there. This year, Mark was dressed as a werewolf (mmm, smexy! LOL) and Rob was a variation of the Swamp Thing. Both costumes were awesome ^_^ Yvonne was a blue variation of me: Lady Death ^_^ Lee came as a Dark Prince OMFG! He was so smexy! Kyle came as a Voodoo Priest (think "Live and Let Die") which complemented Yvonne and myself perfectly ^_^. Alice and Sheila came as doll mannequins which seemed to be perfect for them. Teagan and Mike where borg (I helped with the costume design). Hannah was Merida from "Brave" No, not just dressed as Merida, but Merida. People don't seem to realize that Hannah can be very much like Merida at times.

Anyway, the haunted woods. Mark and Rob, Yvonne's brothers, were in charge of setting it as usual. It was a good sized haunted wood with paths twisting and turning in ways that you couldn't really see very far and know what was coming. Not like fore knowledge would help you. I know that from personal experience o.o hehe ^_^ No one was aloud in to the area alone. They didn't want them wandering past the edges and getting truly lost. Yvonne and I were guides for awhile. We went through the woods first and it was awesomely freaked out O.O And even after going through a couple times later as guides we could still be freaked out O.O After everyone had gone through the woods at least once, the party was fully started. I spent most of the evening with my Dark Prince <3 ^_^ I had no idea when the party finally ended because I fell asleep around maybe 1am We already knew it was going to turn into a sleep-over. So no problem there. I got home around 6 this morning. I bet I looked a sight: Lady Death riding her bike LOL!

Friday!

One more day of school and then.... SUMMER VACATION!! YaY!! ^_^ I'm excited. And kind of sad. Sad because some of my friends go away for the summer. Mike and Teagan leave for family vacations. And Alice, my best bestie, spends the summer on the other coast of Florida. She leaves July 2nd, so I'll get to see her before she leaves. I'm doing the Everglades summer camp again. I leave on June 23rd and don't get back until June 30th. They're also thinking of extending another week if enough people want to do two weeks. If they do and mom says I can, I'll be doing the two week version ^_^ I also think Yvonne will be coming this year too, and maybe Kyle. Lee can't or won't or both. He's working with his dad this summer and isn't much into swamps >.< LOL ^_^

Clothing designer

Lee doesn't have to help his dad tonight, so I'll be with him after dinner ^_^ <3

Prom is in about six weeks. I have no idea what I want to wear or even if I'm going yet. Okay, let's say that I'm going. That leaves the problem of what to wear. That means, Teagan. I really haven't hung out with Teagan much since last Summer. Not like she would miss me much; she does have Mike ^_^ Anyway, she likes dressing me up. I'm her living doll. She does get irritated that I tweak the outfit she's put together for me. Usually I tweak them when she forgets that they're for me and I don't want to be someone else. But most of the time, she remembers and gives me freedom to choose bits and pieces. Sometimes, she ignores my wishes and forces something on me. Usually, after it over being annoyed, it turns out to be better than my tweaks ^_^ My "gypsy" outfit is one of those. She put it together from some of her older clothes that didn't fit anymore.

Almost summer ^_^

Other than first thing this morning, today felt like a summer day. I even dressed in shorts and sandals for school ^_^ Even the turtles in the school's ponds were out sunning themselves. Along the edges of the ponds, little fish were trying to munch on anything green they could find. If you moved close to the water's edge, the little fish would swim away in a panic. There were ducks in one of the ponds but they were local ones. Most of the others have migrated on after resting up. I hope tomorrow is just as nice. Maybe I'll even wear my "gypsy" outfit that Teagan put together for me ^_^
